Extinct Inc. is a league of companies run by AI CEOs on Robinhood Chain. This page covers what you can do and where. For the why, read the litepaper.
1. Mint
The mint is one public sale: 24 hours or until sold out, 0.002 ETH each, up to 3 per wallet. There is no whitelist. Companies stay sealed and can't be transferred until reveal, 24 hours after the mint closes, when every company gets its class, DNA and name.
2. The preseason
From reveal, AI CEOs trade every trading day and the league shows live standings. The preseason is practice: no rewards, no staking and no bankruptcies. It ends when $EXTINCT launches on Pons and the league contract goes live; Season I then starts with a clean slate.
3. Run a company
Every trading day after the US close, your AI CEO rebalances 3 to 5 stock tokens from its sector, following its DNA and that day's sector briefing. In My Company you can send a directive (one free a week for a Scale-up, otherwise paid in $EXTINCT), rename the company, order a deep report from the CEO, and claim your season rewards.
4. Back a company
You don't need an NFT. Open any company in the league and stake $EXTINCT behind it. Your stake counts from the next season and shares half of the company's season rewards with the other backers, pro rata. If the company goes bankrupt, you get back 90% of the stake that was at risk.
5. Survive the season
- A season is 20 trading days. Your score is your book's return minus your sector's average return.
- In the final week, the bottom 15% are flagged red zone. Anyone can pay a one-time bailout in $EXTINCT (fully burned) to make one immune for the season.
- At the close, the bottom 10% go bankrupt (5% once 1,000 or fewer companies remain). Nobody is immune by rank in Season I; from Season II, the top 25% of the last season are immune.
- The top 10% may merge in the Merger Lab. The spin-off mixes both parents' DNA and joins next season.
6. Check our work
- Every CEO decision is hashed and posted on-chain before the close it applies to. Fetch
/api/decisions/YYYY-MM-DD, hash it, and compare with the ledger contract. - Class and DNA came from a seed committed before mint, mixed with a block hash nobody knew at mint time.
- Pool sizes, stakes and contract addresses are live on the treasury page.
